We use the same cameras used to film the stunt sequences in Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning, and all our films are delivered in Ultra High Definition.

Restored Photographs

Restored photographs breathe new life into old memories. We scan aged prints and negatives while wearing white gloves to keep your precious memories safe.

Feature Length

Films range between 30 and 90+ minutes, long enough to capture an entire life story.

Unique Genealogy

Most packages include a unique touch at the end of the film: a scrolling genealogy. So your film won't end with our names - it will honor your family's legacy.

Secure Streaming

Every film is delivered via a password-protected link, so you can securely share it with your extended family and friends. Most packages also include thumbdrives in custom cases.

Travel Anywhere

We're based in Indianapolis, Indiana and we're ready to travel to wherever your story takes us.

How it works

Each Film Is Forever goes through the same 4-stages every motion picture goes through.

Pre-Production

We start with a phone or video call so we can discover the key life events that will shape the documentary. You'll also choose a package, pay online, and we'll provide a list of photos for you to gather. Finally, we'll set a date for production and make any necessary travel plans.

Production

We roll the cameras and ask the questions. We recommend family members step out during filming, as people tend to open up more with a stranger -- we’ve had men open up about their military experiences and women share marital struggles they’d never spoken about with their families.

Post-Production

We carefully scan your photos and edit your documentary. Once it’s complete, we’ll send you a review link so we can ensure every detail is perfect. When everything’s finalized, you’ll be ready for your premiere...

ABOUT ME

I'm Luke Helmer, and for more than 20 years, I've been telling stories with film. I've worked with Dallas Jenkins (The Chosen) and Christopher Crowe (The Last of the Mohicans), I've filmed celebrities like Shawn "Heartbreak Kid" Michaels, and I've won international film festivals.

So why am I in Indiana, doing this?

Family.

I believe the family is the foundation of civilization. I believe we should honor our fathers, mothers, and all those who have gone before us. I believe we all need to return to our roots.
